Finished Blockswap Quilt

My participation in the blockswap has now come to an end. Thank you so much Jessica for organizing such a great swap. I just love my finished quilt and love to wrap up in all the talent that went into the making of these blocks.

So here are the ladies behind those beautiful blocks.(starting at the top left)

Jessica C, Maritza, KT Eisler, Stephanie D, Jessica H, Kathy, Shandy, Amy, and Gina.

Thank you ladies for your wonderful blocks. I love them all!

Here’s my flickr link. I uploaded a close up of each block if your interested

Well, spring break is over. I am already up to my armpits in math and astronomy. I will stop by here and post if I have something to share otherwise my next scheduled craft time is going to be this summer.

Great job April! I’m absolutely in love with your looping quilting pattern. The organic scale adds a lot of movement to your quilt. My blocks are still waiting for me…

Wow, it looks fantastic April! You did a knock-out job! I love what you’ve done with the looping stitches too. Wow!
By the way, it was a lot of fun to be a part of this block swap. If anyone organizes another anytime soon, I would definitely participate again.

Beautiful! The blocks look so wonderful together! The loopy quilting is perfect! I really need to get busy on my blocks. Sigh.

The proportion of block to background is perfect, your quilt is lovely. I like the loopy quilting too, it suits the modern style of the blocks.

I’d love to do another swap like this as well. I considered trying to organize it myself but I have a new baby and I’m lucky I even remembered to comment here…

I love the quilting, the balance between background and blocks–everything! You got a good set!

Wow! I, too, really love the quilting pattern you used. I would love to know how to do that! Is it free-motion?

The blocks + the quilting make it so unique and just gorgeous!
