My dear friend Jess has just announced a block swap. You make 10 quilt blocks, send them to her and she will send you 9 back from other people participating in the swap, keeping the 10th to make a beautiful quilt or quilts for charity.

It is so hard to know how big or small to make a newborn hat.  I got lucky.

Here is Bronwyn in her hat I made to bring her home from the hospital in. It still fits her at 2 weeks but I am afraid it will have to be retired very soon.
