wow!

last night after the kiddies went to bed i got going on the baby quilt. ( it was about 8:oo when i got started) as i looked up at the clock when i was finishing up the binding it was almost 10:30. i couldn't believe the quilting and binding only took two and half hours.

with hubby not expected back for a few hours, i decided to get started on a journal. when that was done, i started on the diaper pouches i wanted to make for my etsy shop.

when all was done and cleaned up it was still before midnight. i cant believe how smoothly things went.

1 - You are fast. It always takes me longer than I thought. Love the pattern the colored blocks make by being slightly offset on each column. Beautiful. (Comment this)

3 - What is a diaper pouch for? Is it to put a diaper and wipes in to put in your purse or diaper bag? If that is what is it for Im so excited to make one! By the way, I answered your question in the comments on my blog.

4 - You are right on about the diaper pouch. I use mine for diapers and wipes.
*note- i have found that it is easier to use a diaper pouch if the zipper is on the long side of the pouch. it works fine with the zipper on the top but it is just a bit easier to load diapers in when the zipper is on the long side. (Comment this)
